Music & Movement: For Preschoolers Ages 3.5 to 4.5 Classes move through an imaginative dance adventure, capturing and nurturing young children’s instinctive joy of movement and freedom of expression. Class themes, such as visiting Toyland or discovering the secrets of Mystery Island, encourage class participation, focus, confidence and exploration. Sessions, price and attire listed below. Pre-Ballet I Ages 4.5 to 6
Presented in a creative and structured class, students will be exposed to the basic foundations of dance technique: correct posture, weight placement, coordination, spatial and body awareness, musicality, imagination and listening skills. Pre-Ballet II Ages 5.5 to 7
Young dancers continue to develop the concepts in Pre-Ballet 1. This level, students learn to move with increased control and coordination. Students will learn, remember and perform a sequence of simple steps to depict a story. Students must be at least 5 ½ years old, or have completed a year of Pre-Ballet 1. Kids Day Out Ages 6-11 Get your Spring Break energy out with a day at the Kirkwood Community Center. We’ll spend time playing in the gym, making new friends and making art projects. (Ice Skating if time allows) Bring your friends and join us for one day or two. Bring a sack lunch. Emergency contact information needed at registration. Dr. Volleyball Instructional Courses
These courses offer a correct “dosage” of safe and age-appropriate volleyball instruction to young players. Courses are designed to provide an introduction and a fundamental, fun approach to volleyball to “patients”4th grade thru High School. Each course includes six weeks of instruction,the guidance of “phd-like” teaching staff, who
focus on skill and game play including passing, setting, hitting, serving,
digging, and blocking with daily skills, drills, & scrimmages.
Wed. 4th-6th grades, 5:15 p.m.-6:15 p.m.
Thu. 7th grade-HS, 5:15 p.m.-6:15 p.m.

Paintball Ages 10-16
Let’s head to the paintball fields. Wear clothes that can get messy! Fees include transportation to and from paintball field, goggles, paintball guns and 250 rounds of paint ammo. Extra ammo can be purchased on site for an additional cost. (Field paint only.) You must register in person at the Kirkwood Community Center and a parent or guardian must sign a release form in order to participate.

Lunch Box Buddies Ages 3-5
Pack your child’s lunch and drop them off at the Kirkwood Community Center for recreational games and fun! You can spend your time lunching with friends, running errands, or just focusing on you! Class limit is 8; so sign up early!
